I am not Latin, Irish, or Jewish, BUT that most certainly does not exclude my participation in events and activities that take place in lieu of their cultural traditions. New Yorkers love an excuse to party and no matter the ‘holiday’, all are welcome to indulge in the festive happenings taking place throughout the Burroughs.
Cinco De Mayo has a very dear place in my heart. It marks the 1 year anniversary of my first time eating a baked good while at a party in the Burton showroom. This holiday holds the perfect excuse for submerging yourself in pitchers of margaritas and stuffing your face with chips, salsa, guacamole, tacos, rice, beans, ect.
